【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesthegeneral,physical,andmagneticrequirementsforinterchangeabilityofthemagneticsix-diskpack,asrequiredtoachieveunrecordedpackinterchangebetweendiskstoragesandassociatedinformationprocessingsystems.Thesix-diskpack,withtenrecordingsurfaces,isofthetypeintendedspecificallyforusewithdigitalrecordingandreproducingequipmentemployingaccessmechanismscapableofpositioningupto200usabledatatracksoneachofthedisksurfaces.Therequirementsforthreeadditionaltrackareasoneachrecordingsurfaceareidentifiedforuseasalternatesincaseofdifficultyinreadingorrecordingonanyusabledatatrack.
