【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardprovidesrecommendationsconcerningthestorageconditions,storagefacilities,enclosures,andinspectionforrecordedpolyester-basemagnetictapesinrollform.Itcoversanaloganddigitaltapeandincludestapemadeforaudio,video,instrumentationandcomputeruse.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletomedium-termandextended-termstorageofmagnetictapeasdefinedin3.18and3.7andalsoisapplicabletomagnetic-taperecordsintendedasmastertapes,whichshouldnotbeinfrequentuse.Deviationsfromtheserecommendations,whetherbeforeorafterrecording,mayresultinshortenedlifeexpectancy.Forexample,adverseconditionsduringshipment,handling,orusage.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicableto"work"or"use"copies(seeinformativeannexC).
